XL Recording’s new signing to play their first headline London show since February
Friendly Fires - are pleased to announce a headline London show at the Soho Revue Bar on 24th July. This is the band’s first London headline show since February this year.
Friendly Fires are memorable for their energetic live sets, a band who have been filling up clubs, venues and dancefloors and festivals all over the UK during the latter part of 2007 and the first half of 2008. The band ended last year on a high with their limited edition 7” single ‘Paris’ released in December on Moshi Moshi records.
Currently putting the finishing touches to their killer debut album in between a string of live european dates, the debut full length is due for release on XL Recordings this September. Last week the boys hooked up with producer Paul Epworth (Bloc Party/Maximo Park/Babyshambles/The Rapture) to finish off a new track which will feature on the forthcoming album.
