Bands including THE ENEMY are getting set to join Wayne Rooney at the London leg of the Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola.
Coventry trio THE ENEMY are set to headline an exclusive free show for 2,500 competition winners at Earls Court 2, London, as part of the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour on Thursday 11th March 2010. The bands will join England striker Wayne Rooney to welcome the authentic, solid gold FIFA World Cup Trophy at the UK leg of an unprecedented 86,304 mile (138,902km) global tour which will take in 83 countries in the lead up to the Finals in South Africa.
Fans can win tickets through online media and radio competitions. All winners will also receive the once-in-a-lifetime chance to have their photo taken with the authentic FIFA World Cup Trophy as well as enjoying an exclusive question and answer session with Wayne Rooney where he'll reveal his thoughts about the forthcoming 2010 FIFA World Cup. Tom Clarke, lead singer with THE ENEMY said: "We’re really looking forward to it. It's a bit different from your usual gig and it's not every day you get the chance to get up close to the FIFA World Cup Trophy."

Other acts on the bill include KID BRITISH and Somali hip-hop artist K’NAAN who will perform "Wavin Flag – Coca-Cola Celebration Mix" – the African inspired anthem of Coca-Cola's 2010 FIFA World Cup campaign. The Tour, which is over half way through its epic journey, started at FIFA headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland, on 21st September 2009. In total, the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola is set to cover 86,304 miles (138,902 km) - more than three times the circumference of the Earth.
