UK punk rock merchants ANONYMOUS TIP are hitting the road this spring in support of their forthcoming new single "The Weirder Brave" which will be available from 12th April 2010.
The Twickenham band get a lot off their collective chests on this single, which tackles the rise of the BNP. This is something particularly close to lead singer Sanj Surati’s heart.
"I used to be quite scared of the rise of the BNP back in the early 90's. I was only about 14 but was frustrated about the idea of a political party controlling this country with race divisions as the core of their policy. The sudden recent rise of the BNP has ignited all those feelings from when I was a boy and I’m proud to have the opportunity to be releasing a song that talks about the subject.
This tour is all about positivity though and we are so looking forward to playing live again. It's been about six months since we last did a show and we are so itching to get onstage and feel the electricity of the crowd and to get sweaty onstage. We will be playing with some awesome bands on this tour and we'll be making it up to Scotland, which we haven't played since 2004. Bring on the whiskey!"
