BURN THE FLEET unleash their new single "Black Holes" on 4th October, in support of forthcoming autumn UK tour dates. The band, who were recently featured on the Metal Hammer "New British Empire" Covermount CD are taking to the road for ten dates across the UK starting in mid-September and can already boast Kerrang! radio as supporters of this new release.
Following BURN THE FLEET’s debut EP on indie label Walnut Tree Records, "Black Holes" is the first release since partnering with Good Fortune Productions and showcases a more refined edge to their songwriting. Tight riffage and socially conscious lyrics find the perfect balance between melodic hooks and heavy crunch on "Black Holes", an introspective plea to embrace the people and the world around you, something the band feel people don't do enough.
Frontman Convey describes the inspiration behind the track: "Some people live their lives without even stopping for a moment to see who is around them, everyone following trends and blurring into one person. We look at this and see what we dislike most within our worlds, asking people to step back and take a look before it's too late and everything falls into the black hole."
Renowned for their blistering live performances, BURN THE FLEET have recently been on the road sharing stages with MADINA LAKE, SENSES FAIL, TWIN ATLANTIC and SKINDRED.
