Having completed a sold-out tour of the UK, Field music, aka Sunderland siblings Peter and David Brewis (along with Kev Dosdale on guitars and synth and Andrew Lowther on bass) have just announced a twelve date tour of the UK this coming October, following a host of festival appearances across the summer.
To coincide with these dates Field Music will be releasing a limited edition compilation of cover versions. David Brewis explains: "Over the years we've been handed excuses to try all sorts of covers. Sometimes we've been quite faithful and other times we've completely de-constructed them. Even though I don't think it's something which comes naturally to us, we always seem to find some element which can turn a song into Field Music."
