Earlier this week, London experimental duo Gum Takes Tooth released their brand new track "They Watch Through Soil" exclusively via YouTube. The collaboration with their erstwhile second drummer Jaxson Payne is taken from a one-off techno and electronica-influenced set that was largely improvised live at a Corsica Studios show.
Directed by Ethan Race, the video captures the intricate drumming interplay that makes Gum Takes Tooth such a formidable and unique prospect. The track will not feature on their forthcoming second album, due out later in the year.
The duo will also be playing a couple of live dates this summer and a stop at the Soy Festival in Nantes in October.
