Oh, if only they were! But sadly, Bill Parton Trio’s second UK single release of 2014 suggests they’re determined to establish themselves beyond their native Australia. Their strategy, it would appear, is to bore listeners into submission with their plodding piano-led AOR that’s everything that’s bad about Keane, Toploader, Elton John and Billy Joel all mashed into one cheesy listening radio-friendly omelette.
