Initially released a couple of years ago with their previous EP, The Novatones have re-issued their excellent single 'Living for the Weekend' in the run up to the release of their new EP.
Short and sharp, the track clocks in at less than three minutes, and it doesn't need any more than that to make an impact. With the same approach as the quickfire Ramones, the music makes its point and leaves you wanting more.
The guitar driven refrain is drummed into you almost immediately, and the energy kicks in from there, carrying you through the song effortlessly.
The new EP, 'Sunday Romance', is out September 20th, but in the meantime, there's somethign to enjoy here:
