Review: 'BAVOTA, BRUNO'
'The Secret Of The Sea'

-  Label: 'Psychonavigation Records'
-  Genre: 'Ambient' -  Release Date: '21st April 2014'

Our Rating:
Eleven piano-based ambient tunes inspired by the moon, the stars and, above all, the ocean.

Hailing from Naples, the classically trained composer has a special relationship with all things aquatic as demonstrated by the album title and tunes like If Only My Heart Were Wide Like The Sea and The Boy And The Whale.

The cover image is of a fully dressed man standing on a rock surrounded by water protected from the sun's glare by a parasol but otherwise looking somewhat exposed to the forces of nature.

However, the listener will be reassured that no sense of danger is expressed in the tasteful instrumental melodies which evoke gentle waves more than fierce tides.
