Review: 'Hora Douse'
'Crash EP'

-  Genre: 'Rock' -  Release Date: 'October 2014'

Our Rating:
They’re hardly fast workers: forming in 2010, they recorded their eponymous debut EP in 2012, released it the following year and only now do we get a follow-up in the shape of this three tracker. The good news is that they haven’t lost any of their musical momentum and the ‘Crash EP’ packs the kind of energy that characterises their live shows.

Choppy, alt-rocky tunes with hooks and big guitars in the vein of Biffy Clyro and Manchester Orchestra are their thing and they know how – and when – to bring a riff, too. With its fast tempo, crunchy guitars and big, buzzed-out break, not to mention surly yet catchy punk chorus, digital single track ‘Bored’ is the standout on what is a strong and punchy set.
