His new EP ‘To Be Me’ is a step forward in developing his music; Cody brings personal autobiographical lyrics along with his signature rustic vocals to the tracks.
Listening to the EP, you can hear how thoughtful every word is, consequently making a refreshing, clean and mature sound that is currently lacking in males in the UK music scene. Don’t get me wrong these tracks aren’t over emotional, you’re almost fooled by the upbeat and pared back tempo it’s only when you really listen to what’s being said that it gets a bit gloomy, but it works and I love it.
