The Free Fall Band a "gang of five" guys from the village of Mataro north of Barcelona. They like pop music very much.
With no trace of a Spanish accent or local roots, they bounce and bop through eleven tunes with the kind of loungey tweeness I associate with Belle And Sebastian or The Beautiful South.
Saxophone, trumpet and Hammond organ effectively drown out any hard rock credentials and ensure that the lightness of being suggested by titles like Lonesome Cowboy, Solitary Peggy Sue and Oh What An Awkward Day is maintained.
It’s all good, harmless fun but eminently forgettable.
