This Boston-based quintet is comprised of members from all over the U.S. who met at Berklee College Of Music.
The pure pitch of Hillary Reynolds' voice and precise cello playing of Trevor Jarvis gives their second album a polished and meticulously nuanced quality. Overall, they are a band who soften the rough edges of traditional American folk in much the same way that Ireland's The Corrs sanitized Celtic folk.
“I get inspired by nature, especially the woods, and friendships, relationships, other people's stories, as well as experiences on the road,” says Reynolds.
This gives the impression that there's a range of subject matter on offer here but the all too familiar topic of loving relationships is what dominates. Titles like Honey, Come Home, Can’t Let You Go and

This Love Is Ours are self explanatory.
There's a mellow mood throughout which they market as "campfire congeniality". Only I Surrender, featuring Nashville's Forrest O’Connor, shifts to a higher gear.
This is a record few will actively dislike but the safe songs and slick style are too predictable to engender much enthusiasm.
