Review: 'ROXY ROCA'
'Ain’t Nothing Fancy'

-  Label: 'Stag Records'
-  Genre: 'Dance' -  Release Date: '24th February 2015'

Our Rating:
Feel like getting funky? No, me neither, especially when it means enduring an album's worth of songs about shagging that are about as subtle as a flying saxophone.

The libidinous grunts and insatiable grooves indicate anytime is the right time for making 'sweet' love. Appropriately enough, it's out on Stag records.

Whether it's a rainy day or a starlit night, all eleven tunes crafted by this "nine-piece powerhouse of southern soul" from Austin, Texas are all focused on doing "what's a man supposed to do".

The titles tell you all you need to know: Talkin' 'Bout Love, Love Maker Deville, When The Lights Go Down etc. etc.

One boast is that "I got a bank account full of love" which might be some consolation to the countless pretty babes they salivate over with lines like "I can't get enough of the things you do" and "you got to feel me baby".

Lord have mercy indeed.
