Review: 'Pistols & Vultures'
'Seven'

-  Genre: 'Rock' -  Release Date: '17th April 2015'

Our Rating:
This imaginatively-titled album by Pistols & Vultures contains seven tracks. The East Anglian trio have been likened by practically every reviewer on the planet who’s heard them to Biffy Clyro and Incubus. The reason for this is that they trade in emotive, soulful rock tunes, with a leaning toward arena-sized anthems. And they sound like Biffy Clyro and Incubus. It also means that they’re a little lacking in balls at times, although ‘Take Me Away’ is big, ballsy and rifftastic, and ‘Self-Inflicted’ packs a reasonable amount of meat, too. Not bad. Which is more than can be said for the artwork.
