Review: 'Fallen to Flux'
'Transitions'

-  Album: 'Transitions'
-  Genre: 'Rock' -  Release Date: '5th August 2016'

Our Rating:
Like around 25,000 bands before them who no-one’s heard of or gives a toss about, Fallen to Flux invite comparisons to Don Bronco, Avenged Sevenfold and Mallory Knox. Their songs are full of bluster, driven by some fiery guitars and propelled by a solid rhythm section. But for all the beef in the instrumentation, the production tempers it all, and the clean, melodic vocals are to the fore. They may have additional strings on their guitars and stripes of paint on their faces, but these are pop songs dressed as rock tunes. The tunes that are more rock – like the prog-tinged ‘Anchored’ – are pomped up and pretentious and border on emo.
