Oh dear. I have a friend who I sometime mock on account of the fact the majority of the bands he decides he doesn’t like, he dismisses as being ‘tame’. But ‘False Beginnings’ is an appropriately titled opener for this EP. The guitars pile in with some poke and everything’s sounding promising... and then the vocals start. And then there’s a really cliché solo.
They’re pitched as being for fans of Biffy Clyro, Stone Sour, Alter Bridge but come on more like Foreigner, and not in a good way. Tamer than tame.
