"My name is Einar Vilberg and I am an Icelandic artist". This polite introduction makes no mention of the fact that Vilberg has previously made four albums as leader of Noise, a band which also features his brother Stefan on bass.
Going solo makes perfect sense as he was so much the driving force behind that band and, with his Kurt Cobain looks, was also the obvious visual focus.
Being hard-working and prolific, he hardly seems to be the apathetic type but I guess 'Enthusiasm' or 'Hyperactive' would not be appropriate Grunge-like titles.
Like 'Noise', the sound is so much like Nirvana that Vilberg could easily pass as a tribute singer. Going it alone may mean that he forges a musical identity of his own but this single gives no indication that this is the direction he is heading in.
