Tiny Eyes (aka Joel Evans) is from Leicester in the English East Midlands.
He sings mellifluous piano ballads with poetic intent. "Words come dancing like a shadow cast upon a silver screen" he enthuses on Golden Thread.
The songs are full of declarations of love and lust. One woman is praised for "strolling like a tiger" (Sixes) and on the signature track also called Tiny Eyes he swoons how he "swam into your undertow".
It doesn't win my heart but then again I guess I'm the wrong gender!
