Our Rating:
Bio of the week has to go to these guys: ‘Hailing from St Albans, TV Coma are a contrary millennial rock band. Raised on a lean diet of crap beer and Weezer albums, song-writing siblings Leo and Max Troy join forces with drum whiz Lurie Rothwell and deeply unemployed bassman Jamie Rider to pump out Power Pop earworms influenced by Blur, Jeff Rosenstock and Andy Kaufman.’ From this, I infer they’re as self-knowingly crap as their press photo suggests, and lead track ‘Have a Party’ is three and a half minutes of dumb, mindless fun.

‘Body Negativity’ isn’t big or clever (what did you expect with song titles like ‘Football Song; and ‘Grow Up’?), but it is punchy, bouncy and they’ve got a knack for slinging hooks all over ebullient Weezer-esque four chord riffs.
