Review: 'Black Needle Noise'
'She Talks To Angles/Seed Of Evil'

-  Label: 'Cleopatra Records'
-  Genre: 'Industrial' -  Release Date: '9.7.20.'

Our Rating:
Black Needle Noise is the latest project of John Fryer from This Mortal Coil and more dark music than I can list here but including working with HIM, Nitzer Ebb, Love & Rockets and Cradle Of Filth to name a few.

She talks To Angels is the Black Crowes song but not as you know or love it. As Black Needle Noise take it to the industrial club dance floor with huge deep bass sounds and Anjela Piccard's vocals sounding like the gentler end of Lydia Lunch's songs, this has a fully encompassing sound that has thoroughly reinvented the original song in a really cool way that will horrify many Black Crowes purists but that's too it's immense credit.

Seed Of Evil (with PIG) is an industrial noise floor filler of the highest order, just perfect to stomp around the dancefloor too. It's been too many years since I first saw Pig live at The Marquee, but this reminds me of just how powerful he was and while it's easy to compare to Marilyn Manson it's also a lot more than just that. This is the sound of Club Antichrist, Club Inferno and any number of other favorite haunts. I can't wait to hear this on a huge club system.
