Singer-songwriter, Nancy Hays, is preparing for her upcoming album,Come Waltz with Me, by releasing a selection of singles, giving a glimpse of what's to come, with 1, 2, 3, Too Many Times, and the album's namesake, Come Waltz with Me.
The first single, 1, 2, 3, Too Many Times, released on August 15th. Having learned about the song at the funeral of her friend and previous co-writer, Marjorie Reeves, Hays decided to record the song at Reeves family recording studio, paying respects to her friend in the process. A heart wrenching song about seeing your other half dance with their ex, reconnecting in the process, it’s a wonderfully sung and put together piece of music.
Her second single, Come Waltz with Me, is a line-dancing classic that speaks of the perspective and emotion of dancing with a male partner. A story based in feelings, enjoying a pastime, its a great song that is sung beautifully, with music that meets the same standard.
