The North West's best-kept secret THE LANCASHIRE HOTPOTS, return for 2010 with a "Criminal Record" (released 26th April), an album looking at the crimes committed by and to people in the 21st Century. Song topics range from falling victim to "Identity Fraud" to the heinous crime of the theft of neighbours wireless internet "Sniffling Next Door's Broadband". This release promises to challenge people's preconceptions of the band, and illustrate that underneath their comedy caps lies four very talented, albeit off the wall, musicians.

With national radio play and support from BBC R2 Chris Evans, BBC R2 and 6 Music’s Steve Lamacq, BBCR1 Colin Murray, and because of their no nonsense approach to comedy and fun, the band have quickly acquired a massive national following. 2010 looks set to be another cracking year with this album release and more live tours planned. They have previously supported ardent fan Paddy McGuinness on his "Paddy McGuinness Plus You" tour, taking in eighteen dates and performing to more than 20,000 people.

The band graced not one but two stages at last years Glastonbury Festival (the Avalon and Rabbit Hole stages), to an audience that included none other than Steve Lamacq who declared them one of his five top moments of the festival! Other festivals in 2009 included Solfest, Brampton Live, and Ynot Festival main stages.

The band’s summer "Ooh Me Knees" theatre tour played to sell-out audiences across the North West of England and proved so popular that they will shortly announce details the "Ooh Me Knees Tour II" later in the spring.
