Witch Hunt, are Leeds based duo Louisa Osborn & Chris Mulligan. ‘Crawl’ is their second single. Described as ‘a spark of black magic’, it’s a haunting piece. Brittle guitars weave through a richly atmospheric and vaguely chilling.
Louisa’s vocals are utterly compelling and gloriousy graceful as she sings of vengeful brutality,outlining the things she will do to the one who’s wronged her. These involve burning, removing their heart, and stealing – and wearing – their face. She doesn’t sound like a maniac, but you probably wouldn’t want to cross her. You do definitely want to hear this single, though.
