Review: 'DIRT TRACKS, THE'
'Kaleidoscope'

-  Genre: 'Indie' -  Release Date: '5th August 2013'

Our Rating:
'Kaleidoscope' is the brand new single from Spanish indie rockers The Dirt Tracks. This weird yet wonderful track is two tracks blended together to make one brilliant all-in-one-stroke-of-pure-indie-genius song.

Opening with the steady beat of the drums and the gentle strumming of the guitar, you're then welcomed with the soothing melodies of Coma's voice. I found it harder to find the flaws in this track as I listened further. The subtle synth and violin runs a nice undercurrent beneath the intricate guitar work which all just highlights Coma's wonderful vocals.

The Dirt Tracks have been compared to the likes of Radiohead, The Strokes and Wild Beasts and listening to this song I can see exactly why. The strong indie vibe carries well through the song and there's no doubt you're listening to The Dirt Tracks.
