Oh, look, another alt-rock / punk act with a rather silly and overly-long name trying to be all clever-clever with their paradoxical, contradictory and wordy EP and song titles. Yep, For All the Wrong Reasons Indeed. ‘We’re not losing, We’re just not winning’ takes the oxy out of oxymoronic, a feeble attempt at juvenile wit.
Needless to say, ‘Who Died and Made You King of the Zombies?’ isn’t nearly as amusing as its title, and the immense power chord that launches ‘It Always rains (Except When it Snows)’ is soon lost to a mediocre blast of diluted angst. ‘It’s Not Me With the Problem, It’s Everyone Else’ typifies the outlook of such stereotypical rebellion that follows the melodic power-punk-pop blueprint so slavishly as to be conformity in another guise. Tame and lame.
