The first couple of numbers on this three-tracker are kinda so-so and got me to thinking ‘it’s not bad, but it’s just another accessible contemporary punk-pop rock-out. What are King Kartel offering that I can’t find in hundreds of places elsewhere?’ Built around a beefed-up surf riff, it’s ‘All Talk No Trousers’ that convinces me that maybe these guy might have some potential. Now we’ll just have to wait and see....
