A boy/ girl duo from Suffolk and Australia respectively. Russell Swallow sings and plays acoustic guitar, Jess Kennedy (wolf?) plays piano and harmonises.
Fire tells of an imagined relationship with an ethereal character based on a noir comic film image. It is the first track of a new EP scheduled for release in early 2014.
"Give me your love or give me my freedom" is the impassioned demand without making it entirely clear why love and freedom are so indelibly intertwined.
The confusing story board of the official video sheds no light on the mystery.
A sad case of too much smoke and not enough fire.
