This short but sweet EP contains four songs of true love and/or staying true to yourself performed by a young, clean cut singer songwriter from Lincolnshire.
Two are original compositions and the others (Unquiet Grave and Fare Thee Well) are arrangements of traditional songs.
The record features guest musicians Gemma Telfer, Sam Pitt and Kat Hurdley.
It takes its title from a line in Smoke And Mirrors and in Eyes Morris tells of what he's learned from life so far. Affirming the need to make the best of what you've got may not be a most radical of philosophies but it reflects the simple directness of the artist.

The tracks are worth hearing, not for the profound lyrical content but for the impressive percussive guitar technique. Morris explains "To me the acoustic guitar is a box with strings, essentially it's a drum, so I like to use it like one".
It's a playing style that transforms these simple songs into something more distinctive.
