Review: 'KODIAK JACK'
'Wasted Youth (single)'

-  Label: 'Angry Badger Records'
-  Genre: 'Rock' -  Release Date: '19th November 2013'

Our Rating:
This 5 piece band from the South Coast of England are named after a minor character in The Mighty Boosh and play old school rock like it's gone out of style.

With a riff not a million miles removed from Black Sabbath's Children Of The Grave, they strut their stuff purposefully for four and a half minutes.

The band's press release says this is the second single to be taken from the band's sophomore album Alhambra, due out early in 2014 although, confusingly, a slightly longer version of this song also appears on their 2011 debut release Your Death: My Glory.

The track is described as "a politically charged foot stomper" but with non-specific statements like "ain't no stopping us now - we got something to say" you'd be hard pressed to say what political flag they are flying. Not that for those about to rock will be too bothered!
