Review: 'DEN HAAG'
'Bleak Unknown'

-  Label: 'Zorch Factory Records / Kroosafix Records'
-  Genre: 'Rock' -  Release Date: 'January 2013'

Our Rating:
Following the release of their EP 'Trials & Tributes' this time last year (reviewed on this very site:review of Trials & Tributes, Den Haag once again see in the new year with a fresh release.

This time it's their first full album, 'Bleak Unknown', which totals 9 tracks of decent quality, 80s infused rock. Once again, the feel is of distinct DIY, with songs built around the powerful rhythm section, only this time the 'Garage Band' feel is more developed - giving the impression of a statement and a trademark sound for this London four piece.

It makes for a distinct sound and tone, giving the whole thing an energy and a buzz that you can imagine comes across in their live shows. One to seek out, and a band to support.
