Review: 'FOREVER STILL'
'Breaking Free EP'

-  Label: 'Self Released'
-  Genre: 'Pop' -  Release Date: '16th April 2014'

Our Rating:
This four-piece, female-fronted Danish Nu Metal pop band are modelled on bands like Evanescence, Flyleaf and Lacuna Coil.

The pseudo-gothic trappings and self conscious rock poses appear more market driven than musically committed.

The cover art looks as if it's been lifted from a young adult novel and their conventionally unconventional image seems to be pitched squarely at the Twilight audience.

The lyrics to The Key- "I embrace the pain....just to feel again" - could be read as a hymn to self harm or a declaration of no holds barred passion. The screamo finale is tagged on almost as an afterthought.

The three studio tracks plus live acoustic version of The Last Day are intended as a taster for a full length album which promises more of the same.

15 minutes is more than enough for me.
