Review: 'BiasFirey'
'Running'

-  Album: 'Hundred Thousand Souls' -  Label: 'Independent'
-  Genre: 'Rock' -  Release Date: 'Out Now'

Our Rating:
A new Edinburgh three piece led by multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter Lisa Aird, BiasFirey are apparently starting to gain some traction as a band in their local area. They're hoping that their latest single 'Running' might see them recognised further afield as well, and having heard it I can confirm it deserves to turn heads.

The three members of the band (Aird, plus guitarist John Darling and bassist Keith Burns) are all experienced musicians working on various projects to make their living for the last 15 years. What they have come up with sounds fresh, and at the same time familiar.

Apparently, they have been compared to ‘any rock with a girl singer', thanks to their versatile repertoire. This particular song sees them on pounding form, with a lyrical twist that doesn't quite get you on first listen, but will get you next time around.
