Review: 'Big Brother On Acid'
'Big Brother On Acid'

-  Album: 'Big Brother On Acid' -  Label: 'Alrealon'
-  Genre: 'Industrial' -  Release Date: '28th October 2014'-  Catalogue No: 'ALRN055'

Our Rating:
Crashing beats, stuttering synths, swirling vortices of noise, loops, samples and all kinds of hell make this mysterious collective’s name and the title of their eponymous long-player appropriate. This is seriously brain-bending stuff, utterly warped and fucked-up and often unfathomable and bordering on the unlistenable.

The wild funk grind of ‘John Warren’ which collides against some robotix technoindustrial synths / freak jazz explosion of ‘Saturn’ and the snake charming disco frenzy of ‘Vandalism’. Samples drift in and out, warming and crackling through bending walls of intergalactic static and sonic asteroid storms. It’s certainly one hell of a trip.
