Good Luck is the fifth album from four-piece all-male Boston band on a Kentucky-based label.
GGG have country roots but here they frequently veer towards a more rockin' direction with influences from early R'n'R greats like Chuck Berry and Eddie Cochran particularly evident on tracks like Shake Like Jello and Built For Speed.
There are hints of heartache and a harder life but the main focus is on establishing an upbeat mood. This is reflected in a song such as Rockin' Chair Money in which the singer advocates setting aside life's worries to "go honky tonk all night".

One exception is Centralia. PA, a wistful ballad about the demise of a former coal-mining town in Pennsylvania where two of the band members are from.
Overall, you could say that nostalgia is the order of the day for this set of retro tunes based on hometown values. As such it chugs along pleasantly enough without ever being as rabble rousing as it could and probably should have been.
