A rockabilly country beat clicks into a smooth toe-tapping, cow-punching rhythm with songs that imagine God appearing in a backyard (Heaven's Rent) or else evoke the lovesick blues of Hank Williams (Virginia).
It's good time rawhide music designed for consumption in a sweaty live setting which unfortunately sounds pretty humdrum on disc.
