Review: 'Reveurs, The'
'Take a Bow'

-  Genre: 'Indie' -  Release Date: '16th March 2015'

Our Rating:
If the idea of a band channelling musical influences such as Kings of Leon, Arctic Monkeys and The Strokes, sounds about as exciting as Mumford and Sons collaborating with Noel Gallagher (and yes, I know there will be people for whom such a prospect would be thrilling beyond imagination), then credit is due to the Reveurs for packing the three minutes of ‘Take a Bow’ with energy and soul.

The Manchester four-piece aspire to writing and performing intense, unique and lyrically engaging indie-rock anthems and it’s not hard to understand why they’ve developed a solid fanbase at home that’s starting to grow. With an insistent, driving bass and a bit moor oomph than your average indie rock effort, without losing its anthemic mass appeal, ‘Take a Bow’ could well be the song that sees them drawing wider attention.
