Review: 'We Ghosts'
'Decade'

-  Album: 'Decade' -  Label: 'Deep River'
-  Genre: 'Pop' -  Release Date: '15th June 2015'-  Catalogue No: 'DR015'

Our Rating:
Marking 10 years playing and touring as We Ghosts, the imaginatively-titled ‘Decade’ is a celebratory release for the duo. For the most part, it’s a set of middle of the road commercial rock with a distinctly pop edge, although there are some nice, dreamy pop touches woven into the feel (they call it ‘blue-wave’).

‘Home is Where the Heart Is’ emphasises their jazzier leanings and the singalong ‘Final Curtain’, which sounds conspicuously like ‘Puff the Magic Dragon’ verging on choral cabaret. I’m certainly not going to recommend it, but I guess the fact they’ve been going as long as they have says something about their appeal.
