Liverpool based producer, AGP is set to release debut EP ‘How Could She Love You?’ on War Room Records on the 31st of July. It’s prefaced by the single release of lead track ‘Couldn’t’.
Amidst a wash of reverb and drifting sonic haze, soft piano rolls over a subtle heartbeat of a drum. Sampled vocals echo and float into the middle distance and off toward the sunset on the horizon. It’s not only dreamy, but draws you into another world. Mellow as it is, there’s a bittersweet tang to it, which makes ‘Couldn’t’ a compelling listen.
