The full title of this vinyl opus is 'Tune Up Your Ministers And Start Transmissions From Pool Holes To Class O Hypergiants' so put that in your bong and smoke it.
Ellister was a founder member of the now disbanded Dutch Prog-Psychedelic combo Yordan Orchestra. As a solo artist he continues to fly his freak flag high on nine acid folk/psych rock tunes offering varying degrees of self-conscious weirdness.
In the past he has covered songs by The Pretty Things, The Beatles and The Rolling Stones in their Satanic Majesties Request period just in case there were any doubt that his main reference points lie in the LSD fuelled late sixties.
It opens with the best track, The Man With The Biochopper, a tale of a dude on some dark mission or other which evidently has nothing to do with shredding biodegradable crops.

This, like most songs threaten to morph into freeform jams and therefore the tracks seem somewhat constrained by a four minute format.
Only the closing track - A Hunter Needs A Gun - stretches out to six minutes and leaves the listener to imagine what further trippiness might result if/when Mr Kellister truly let it all hang out.
