Review: 'John Wheeler'
'Too Much Poop to Flush'

-  Album: 'Difficult #2 Album' -  Label: 'Independent'
-  Genre: 'Alt/Country' -  Release Date: '28th January 2016'

Our Rating:
John Wheeler is a songwriter who has found a level of global fame thanks to his work with the excellent alternative folk group Hayseed Dixie. Having previously released a solo album to explore his own style, Wheeler has returned to the studio on his lonesome once again for his new 'Difficult #2 album'.

The first single is 'Too Much Poop To Flush', a track which in many ways represents Wheeler as an artist. On the surface, it's a somewhat brash track with a shallow sense of humour as summed up by the on the nose title. Underneath that though, there's true substance, as the track makes some good points about the mess the world is in.

The single does exactly what a good single should do - whets the appetite for the full album. It's out now on iTunes and other digital outlets, or you can find tour dates at JohnWheelerMusic.com.
