Review: 'WILSON, FRASER'
'Woodstock Street EP'

-  Label: 'Self Released'
-  Genre: 'Rock' -  Release Date: '27th January 2016'

Our Rating:
Fraser Wilson is a London-based Scottish singer songwriter who proudly wears his influences (Nirvana, REM, Stone Roses, The Lemonheads, etc.) on his sleeve.

The six songs on this EP make for just 16 minutes of music but tracks like the broody Incitement To Quiet and classic blues-rock of Don't Mess Up Your Mind make the most of the muddy grooves

While being derivative as hell, songs like these have an energy that is all his own.

Currently Wilson works alone. If he can find a band of kindred spirits to form a band he could be onto something.
