When a band comes along being compared to the likes of Kings of Leon, U2 and Coldplay, there’s always a sense of unease. These are big names to be compared to, and difficult expectations to live up to.
However, with their single ‘Two Weeks to the Great Escape’, new rock band Jeremy show that – although they have a way to go – they may well bear up to these comparisons in the future.
Accompanied by a dark, effective monochrome video, the track mixes rock melodies with an easy energy and swagger. It speaks of a band already confident in what they’re trying to achieve, and doing very well at making their time in the studio count.
