Review: 'FLOATATION PROJECT, THE'
'I'm In Love With A Girl .... (single)'

-  Label: 'The Viper Label'
-  Genre: 'Pop' -  Release Date: '1st October 2018'-  Catalogue No: 'CDS129/DL129'

Our Rating:
With a limited edition release of just 50 copies, this self defined "post punk pop gem" is destined to live or die in the virtual world of cyberspace.

The floating cast of artists that make up The Floatation Project are recruited by Paul Hemmings, formerly the guitarist with The La's and Lightning Seeds.

The formation for 'I'm In Love With A Girl From A Japanese Horror Movie is headed up by fellow Liverpudlian Tommy Scott of indie stalwarts Space. Scott wrote the words, sings and he even designed the front cover.

Despite singing of "living in a video nasty" and demanding more more gore, this is quite a bouncy number that could be chart-bound in a parallel universe.

It's backed by dark synthy beats of Out Of Control and a relatively bright instrumental item called Theme From The Cold War.

Mixed up songs for a mixed up world.
