Jennifer Porter's CV reads like that of an overqualified Miss World contestant. She's an actor and screenwriter, has a black belt in Tai Jujitsu, enjoys gardening, likes to learn new languages and has sung with the Glenn Miller Orchestra. She originally trained as an Opera singer and a classical pianist.
For her seventh album, produced by Jay Newland, this renaissance woman departs from the jazz orientation of her previous albums for some sultry late night mood pieces that will, if you are so inclined, get you in the mood for love.
It features five original tunes and five covers of songs by The Rolling Stones, Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, and Bobby Sharp. All are rendered in cool sensual tones.

Even the name of her Maine-based record label (Cougar Moon) conveys the image of mature sexuality. "Unchain my heart" she coos seductively and we all know where that leads!
I can't say that it turns me on but if you're in search of sophisticated make out music then this might just fit the bill.
