There’s a confident strut and swagger to the smooth groove Tommy lays down as he recounts and reflects on some excursions sampling the London nightlife. It’s a tale told many times, of fast love that may be just for the night, but it’s real enough in the moment, and the moment is what matters.
It's not hard to get why it’s getting some attention: Tommy has a pleasant, rich voice, and it’s a solid tune, with infinite mass-market appeal. Expect to be hearing it in clothes shops and other commercial spaces soon.
