The PR speaks of endless spores of sound and describe the band as being carriers of warm transmissions seeped in aural innovation. I personally would question that there's anything 'warm' here; it strikes me that the main focus is on bleak pragmatics.
The band have had more than three decades to perfect a psyched-out Krautrock-esque sound after forming in Burton-upon-Trent way back in 1986. This is the men from the Midlands' 12th album.

Admittedly, the four-piece are ploughing a familiar furrow but the unwavering vision that refuses to look on the bright side is, in its own modest way, impressive.
