Review: 'Emperor Of Ice Cream'
'Weather Vane'

-  Label: 'Fifa Records (Forever In Financial Arrears)'
-  Genre: 'Indie' -  Release Date: '24.8.21.'

Our Rating:
This was Emperor Of Ice Creams first new material to come out after they finally released the bands much delayed debut album some 20 years after it was recorded and shoved down the back of a sofa at Sony Music. With renewed interest in the band especially in Ireland where they are from they have now started recording together again despite the 4 members being spread across the globe.

This opens with Weather Vane a song of regret for a partner who has flip flopped like a spinning Weather Vane as to if they love you or want you over some very sweet sounding indie pop.

High Rise Low Rise is a gently intoxicating dreamy slice of chiming guitar led song of promises and declarations that they will go wherever needed to make you fall for singer John Haggis.
