Review: 'Friendmaker'
'You, Me And Everything Else'

-  Label: 'House of strange Vinyl/Bandcamp'
-  Genre: 'Indie' -  Release Date: '3.3.22.'

Our Rating:
Friendmaker are a new band from the Irish Borderlands who marry Celtic folklore and layered swelling music. Formed around David Marron and the home studio he built during lock down this is the bands debut single and the lead track from their debut album due out later in the year.

You, Me And Everything Else opens with a solo acoustic guitar slowly strummed with some ambient strings behind it as the slow dark vocals tell a tale of betrayal as the bass and drums finally come in to emphasize the lyrics as he tries to survive all the pain and sorrow. This song builds and builds as more layers are added and the pain still seems to linger.
