-  Genre: 'Rock' -  Release Date: '1.4.22.'-  Catalogue No: 'EA45055'

Our Rating:
Last Bite is the latest 7" single from Black Bombers the Birmingham based Biker rock band that features Dave (I'm in every band from Brum) Twist on the drums alongside Gunfire Dance and Brian James Gang bass maestro Darren Birch with Alan Byron on Vocals and guitar and the latest addition of Steve Crittall from Alvin Gibbs & the Disobedient Servants and The Godfathers on guitar. The single is dedicated to the memory of Dave Kusworth and Walter Lure.

Last Bite is a slower paced than usual Black Bombers song, that reflects on the mess we have ended up in Post Brexit and Lockdown, with a good ringing drum sound, alongside some cracking guitars, as Alan Byron tells us all about that last bite, as the guitars strafe across the speakers, the contempt they feel for the Bozo in charge is made crystal clear, as the tragedy of our current rulers only becomes more tragic this song seems to increase in relevance every time I hear it.

On the b-side is a great cover of The Damned's Brian James written classic You Take My Money, that's every bit as angry and bile ridden as it should be, it races along driven by Darren Birch's imperious bassline and Steve Crittall and Alan Byron's coruscating guitars that freak out in the middle of this rip snorting version.
